Hi Matt, It is designed to replicate data better and more secure through out the hierarchy. You can find the discovery settings in the Administration node, click your site and you see a small gray bar in the bottom center of the console.

Jannes,

I have vNext installed and running, feeling my way around the new console. I haven't been able to find discovery settings or client push settings. I'm new to the whole vNext world. If you could point me in the right direction so I can get my home machines 'discovered' and clients installed? Can't wait to start playing! :)

Hi Matt,

SQL is required for Secondary Sites because we use SQL replication between sites in vnext.

Why in the world did MS require SQL for secondaries in vNext?

Good Post Jannes!

interesting about the secondary sites. I thought MSFT moved away from them and only BDP's were involved with vNext...

Good to know Secondaries still exist will a required SQL though
